  • Sorry that didn't finish, oops!! Your body just needs to adjust to the pregnancy and it goes through a lot! Nothing to be concerned about :)
  • Welcome!
I haven't had back pain yet with this pregnancy (#2) but my previous one I did and it was awful. I had a hard time getting relief from it, even seeing a chiropractor; but I'd recommend some prenatal yoga positions that stretch your back and strengthen core, exercise regularly -even just a 20-30 min walk will help, and get an exercise ball to sit on at home to help your posture. Hope that helps!
Here are some prenatal yoga positions I've been doing:

  • Thanks ladies! I miss my walks but miami is currently in the upper 90's and a misery . I will try the yoga!
  • Ooh, Miami. Lots of swimming pools. That might be a good alternative to walking in that heat...
  • My back pain started at about 9 weeks. I got used to it, so I can't tell it's there as much, but I am 13 weeks now. When your tummy is the size of a watermelon you'll obviously have back pains a lot more (:
  • I'm 9 weeks today, and I've just started getting lower back pain! I have a scan tomorrow so I guess I'll know if everything's ok tomorrow
