Need Middle Name help!

We are really struggling with girl names...even more so girl middle names. We would like to name the middle name after someone special, but I just don't have many options--mothers names don't flow as middle names, at all (Brenda, Shelly...grandma's are Darlene, Joan, Elmira, and Pearl)...

The two names that we really like are Amera, and Elena (is that how you spell it if you want it to sound a-lay-nah??). Any suggestions what you would put with those?!

DS is Carter Douglas, and if we have a boy we are leaning towards Jaydon Lloyd. Last name starts with M and ends in -ey sound, so would rather stay away from -ly names.

    I think Elena Pearl sounds beautiful. Elena Joan is nice also.

    I have a good friend named Elena, spelled and pronounced that way, and she is the sweetest person I know. Good company :)

    I like the sound of Elena Pearl also...but DH isn't particularly close with that grandma so he thinks its kinda strange to name our first daughter after her. Are there any "neutral" middle names that anyone likes with Elena??

    Her name is Elena Maria. I believe Maria is after a relative.

    Elena Ruth
