So im about 7 weeks pregnant and around week 5-6 i was getting alot of cramps and some actually hurt. They didn't last long but they did happen alot. Ive never had spotting or any blood but im afraid of ectopic. Idk if it's normal or not.
I had it too between 5 and 7 weeks. Very worrisome but everything I read said it was normal and it stopped on it's own. I'm a little over 8 weeks now and have no cramping. I had an ectopic 3 years ago and I can assure you that pain is way more intense and I had very heavy bleeding.
I just hit 7 weeks and my doc assures me it's very normal. My cramping has come and gone for the last couple weeks. Just your body adjusting to what it will be carrying.
My doctor said that if you experience a lot of cramping prior to your due date it could be contributed to being dehydrated. I have increased my water intake and noticed a difference. I have some cramping but it is mild and infrequent.
Every evening I cramp for a good thirty minutes. It isn't unbearable, but it isn't pleasant. I get nervous every time they come on, but as everyone said - it is normal.
I'm about to hit week 7, and have been cramping on-and-off for the past 3 weeks. I've had two doctor's appointments in this time. All looked well, no internal bleeding was spotted. I'm trying to stay positive, but this is my second pregnancy, after a miscarriage during the first one. I did not cramp as much in the first one, as I am for this one, so perhaps it is a sign that things are taking their normal course this time.
i just found out i was pregnant a week and a half ago but ive been having lots of cramps. at first i thought it was my period but then my period never came...im waiting to get an appointment with my doctor.. i cant wait to find out whats going on
Is anyone experiencing muscle spasm cramps? I don't get many pms like cramps, but I'm starting to get bouts of sharp painful aches along my lower stomach and back! Today I woke up and couldn't even straighten my back up all the way from it. Surely it's too soon to be round ligament, right?
@Maybebabylay15 omg yes! It comes in waves and hurts soooo bad...it wakes me up every morning around 1am and I get it 3-4 more times a day! My OB said it's probably my uterus stretching...im 5+3, how far are you?
I've been having the same cramping type feelings. I wouldn't call them painful, more of an annoyance and a bit uncomfortable. I've heard drinking a ton of water helps.
Mine seem to like 4:30am.... feel like an evil combination of IBS and menstrual cramps but not freaking out since no spotting (still paranoid and checking every time- don't worry I wont post!)
I find a hot water bottle helps... made myself one and took it back to bed for a couple of hours
