Low Amniotic Fluid

I did a ultrasound at my job just to see if my little one was ok since her movement slacked. And they said my amniotic fluid looked low. I go to my doctor Wednesday but has anyone else been told this?? It wasn't a OB appointment. Just to see a heartbeat.

I'd suggest trying to get in with your Ob/provider as soon as you can - whether to get a real diagnosis and follow up with a high risk OB or to just calm any fears/give you peace of mind. This isn't something to mess around with so the sooner you can get it confirmed or OK'd the better. Good luck mama.

During my normal 20 week ultrasound the tech had a hard time viewing her heart so I was sent to a specialist for them to check. Everything came but normal but the doctor said my amniotic fluid is in the low end of normal range. That was 2 weeks ago. I go back next week for a recheck. Since then I have been upping my water intake, because I read online it could have been caused by dehydration. I constantly feel her moving so I know she's still okay in there. I even see and feel her on the outside. I agree with everyone else, go to your doctor and have them check! They might send you to a specialist! Mine had a better ultrasound machine and we saw everything so much clearer! Good luck! Keep us updated!

Just got back from my doctors appointment. Levels are good. At 13. Thank god!
