Sore bottom

I have been using the honest company wipes and I just noticed the baby's butthole has some tiny raw abrasions on it. I follow up wipes with burt's bees ointment which is an alternative to petroleum jelly. A friend recommended viva brand paper towels and wetting those to use. Has anyone else had this issue and what worked for you?

    Try aquaphor ointment. My friend recommended it when LO had a really raw tush from scrubbing the meconium off during the early days of life. It worked wonders, within a day or two!!

    I had the same problem with my LO. I used some cucumber wipes I had received at my baby shower and they irritated her bottom. The Dr perscribed her Nystatin and i followed up with aquaphor. She had a yeast rash.

    What is in aquaphor? Does it kill off yeast?

    its like Vaseline and no it doesn't kill yeast, from my understanding.
