im 9 weeks tomorrow and since I found out I was pregnant 5 weeks ago, I have had severe sickness, not just morning sickness, but every waking minute I feel I need to throw up! Does anybody else have this? It's horrible
Yes. The term morning sickness is a lie. It's all day. I threw up 11 times yesterday. Just try to find food that helps you and avoid those that make you gag.
peaches, bagel, unsalted saltine crackers and protein bars help me. I can only eat bland dull food. Make sure to stay hydrated. I've been drinking water, coconut water and gatorade for the electrolytes.
Zofran has been on the hot seat (bad data coming out) so id try to avoid that. Search for my answer about my findings and literature search on zofran in the thread titled "zofran help ". I'm a pharmacist and i wouldn't take it.
I take zofran 8mg and feel fine about taking it. It is my opinion but definately talk to your doctor about it. They put zofran back on the shelves Because of the lack of evidence linking it to birth defects doctors wouldn't be handing it out like candy if they had statistics linking it to Birth defects. At 6 weeks I dropped like a fly at 9 weeks I went on zofran. Going from throwing up 20 times a day to 0 was the best feeling in the world I don't know what I'd do without it. Do your own research! And good luck
