After having contractions Sat night, nothing yesterday. Due date today- off to work and preparing for the "you're here!" comments. Hoping I can work from home wed-fri is baby doesn't come before then!

Nothing to report here...5days til EDD and no signs of labor. Like @slr1229 Im dreading the "you're still here?!?" comments I'm about to endure for the next 9 hours of my life. Grrrr. LO needs to drop or be born now because I cannot breathe. Thanks for the vent! :-)

Really bad lightening crotch! Yesterday it was so bad I could hardly walk into burger king and my husband even made the comment, "oh gosh, this is it! It's going to happen right here." Can't wait to see his reaction when labor really does happen. I'm due on Friday and hoping baby comes sooner! Getting sick of the "no baby yet?" Comment from every customer!

Cranky here at 40+6. Also nervous for tomorrow, but not nearly as nervous as I was last week when I thought at that time I would be induced on Friday. I guess having the weekend helped me mellow out, I don't know.

Honestly, other than the mental game I'm playing with myself (freak out! No! Don't freak out, its gonna be fine... OK. Freak out! No, don't) my most annoying symptom today is my itchy feet from the mosquito bites I managed to collect on our walk Saturday night. I got ATE UP, y'all! I have some on my back, my legs, one on my hand, one on the bump (!), but my feet got the worst of it. I f*¢king HATE mosquito bites on my feet.

Thanks @mellymar! Can't wait to hear from @klkonwi and @mvargas12 today! We're all settled in, waiting for 10:00 to get here. Got my iv and blood work. Ultrasound confirmed that he's still breech and the little stinker has wedged his head under my ribs trying to get away from the monitors. I'm soooooo thirsty! Ready to get this show on the road!

More frequent BH but not actual labor yet, 40 weeks tmw so any day now! I am really hoping to not have to be induced and my doctor already wants to induce me but I told him no bc it's for no reason medically that i would need it until I'm actually 'late'. Hang in there ladies , our babies will get here eventually one way or the other !!!

40 + 6. LO seems content to stay put unless forced out. I am getting induced tomorrow. I'm mostly afraid of getting an epidural. I have an aunt who is paralyzed from a car accident. Anything to do with the spine makes me extremely nervous. I don't even get massages or allow DH to pop my back.

Can't believe how many ladies are delivered or scheduled to deliver this week! Please god let me end up being one of them

Symptoms: fat feet, definitely feeling more pressure, braxton hicks. But still no cramping or other "LABOR IS COMING" symptoms. Hopefully that means nothing and that baby has other plans. Super happy to hear I'm 3cm and 70% effaced today so I'm gonna try to go for a walk later and maybe some sexy time?? Otherwise maybe chugging pineapple juice or a target run? I'm feelin' hopeful lol

Symptom: Insomnia Pitty Party
I'm so sleep deprived it's wearing down my ability to keep my emotional balance. I want to be done with work until after my maternity leave. I just want to rest and focus on preparing for our baby. I feel like having a huge cry but I'm even too tired and irritated to do that. ...I need sleep!

So excited for you @KarasTwin, @klkonwi and @mvargas12 ! Can't wait to see your announcements!

On a sentimental note, of which I'm not sure belongs here, but I'd like to say (please blame my broken emotional state if this is all extra annoying and cheesy): Last night, in my sleeplessness, when hardly anyone was around the board and I felt all alone on the ship in the middle of the sea; quoting phrases of the donkey from Shrek in my mind, ...I realized just how much I really rely on this group of women to keep me going! And even though I have only been posting for a short bit (long time lurker), I still feel very much a part of the community. Although we are "technically" just Internet strangers, all of your encouraging words to each other/to me, the humor, the tears, the witty snarks, etc are a part of my experience on this journey. I am so thankful for all of you who contribute so much. Your willingness to share impacts and helps many more than just those who engage and contribute to the conversations.

I still feel the same as I have all 9 months. I can basically do anything and everything so long as the belly doesn't get in the way. I have some minor BH but that is it. I'm energetic yet tired. I was hoping to have the baby yesterday but now I'm hoping maybe today. I even shaved as much as belly would allow to prep for a baby today lmao! I have another OB visit today and a part of me wants him to instantly send me to L&D lol

Well FI is on my shit list because as I predicted a week ago he got me sick. Woke up today with swollen glands and a sore throat that hurts to swallow. Almost in tears thinking about how miserable it will be to labor like this. Especially in the hospital where they won't let me have something hot to drink. 41+3 and ready to jump.

@HisSunshineLove you made me tear up a bit cause I feel the same! Very well said. Not sure what this pregnancy would have been like without having some place to vent, laugh and find out if what I'm experiencing is normal .I'm seriously sappy about how thankful I am for this group.

Have been in early labor since yesterday around noon. Last night was rough. Went in to L&D this morning at 5 and I found out I was dilated to a 1! Are you freaking kidding me with this?!? After all those damn contractions....a one?!? I'm home now hoping to dilate more while being on maybe two hours sleep patched together. Prayers for dilation please. I'm so frustrated.

Still pregnant, 40+3 today. No signs of anything...had a good cry yesterday and let go of the fact that I have no control over this. I'm pretty sure I'll be induced by the end of the week and no matter how it happens, I get a baby at the end. Enjoying these last few days at home and not freaking out every time I get up to pee to see if my water is going to break. Feels good to let it go!

I'm right there with you guys. Very thankful for being able to vent and read stories of others who are in the same boat. Everyone's stories are a reminder that I'm not alone in my pain, misery and more often than not: joy.

2 weeks pp. still having slight muscle spasms down there. Was looking forward to getting out this week but did something to my neck/back and those areas along with my head really hurt. Not sure if it has any relation to the birth but it sucks!!!

i would just like to say im impressed with you ladies that are still working. like damn. you go girls.
im so tired all the time i just get out of bed to pee. i need to be doing stuff but.. bed, ya know?
LO seems to take after me as it seemed to be dancing yesterday after i ate some cherries so ive got some sore ribs on the right side.
my hips hurt today, i think due to the fact that this was the first night in like 2 weeks i slept without a pillow between my thighs(due to DH actually sleeping in the room.. on the floor) so ill have to fix that somehow.. maybe just through more laying down..
still no hospital bag packed. and the apartment is a mess. so.. HOPEFULLY im able to do stuff today. but who knows i was up till 3am..

I woke up choking on really acidy puke. It was disgusting. I feel like i can still taste it.

My first thought was "is this a sign of labor???"

So I'm post partum but I still have symptoms

My body is getting used to no sleep and it is NOT ok. I tried to sleep from 8-11 last night before I take the night shift for LO since DH is back to work and I have total insomnia. I don't think I fell asleep until 6 am. It made the overnight coverage easier but it's not possible to live on 4 hours a sleep a day, I don't think... Body, please don't get used to this! DH keeps telling me to nap during the day and I kinda want to punch him.

40+1 today and ready to destroy everything I come in contact with. I was 4cm and 90% last week and 3 and 90 the week before, I'm ready to smack the doctors who kept telling me "you may not make your due date, we'll see you soon!" LIES.... when they see me tomorrow, they will be scheduling an induction for ASAP or I'm going to lose my mind and stab my poor husband who is putting up with my violent mood swings. This kid is happy as a clam in here and not giving me any contractions, which is more frustrating than any of it!

Tomorrow will be 41 weeks. No serious symptoms. Just fat and uncomfortable.

Moving boxes out of my old apartment and cleaning it from top to bottom. Surprisingly I feel good. No cramping or light night crotch which I have had daily for the past two weeks. Hope this doesn't mean little man is just getting comfy. Come on boy send me into labor! Haha

Even worse, my mom called just as I was getting myself back together, and had to say all the triggers to set me off crying again. I managed to not let it show thru the phone and get off fairly quickly, but seriously... Could people just let me spend my day in silence? Damn.

@mellymar you're not alone!! I've had a few of those cries this week, some anxiety because I feel like LO could be here so soon and other anxiety cries because I feel like I'll be pregnant forever. This shit is scary and I imagine having the date set on the calendar is frightning but you're going to rock that induction like a badass momma! Keep reminding yourself people do this every day and sometimes multiple times in their lives. That sentiment seems to calm me the most when I'm getting anxious. Think creepy duggar family! Having kids can't be so bad if they've done it 3847372 times lol You'll have a lot of ladies thinking of you!!

After 26 hours of early labor and little progress, but intense pain from contractions 3-4 minutes apart and a duration of about 2 min each...I opted for the epidural and pitocin. Will be checked soon for progress but at least I'm not in pain and I'm having contractions 2-4 minutes apart. Yay drugs. Hope to meet LO soon.

One week postpartum. Woke up this morning with mild abdominal cramping. It's been getting worse through out the day. Now to the point where I'm making faces and wincing in pain. I was worried something was wrong so I called my midwife. She thinks I may have a UTI... Which makes me feel dumb if that's what I called in for. She has called in an Rx for some antibiotics to my pharmacy. I've never had a UTI in my whole life. This isn't fun. I've been drinking tons of water... Ugh.

Getting induced on Friday after a week of contractions off and on as close as ten minutes apart and only being dilated 1cm. Zero progress after an entire week of pain made me feel really discouraged and made me want to set a date so I don't feel so defeated, but now I just feel like I'm failing my original plan before it even started. I feel super selfish now and like I let family and friends pressure me, even though I have serious thought this through and talked it out with DH. Beating myself up a little, I guess. DH is worried about it increasing the risk of C-section and adding stress. I just want to hold my baby and not hurt for another two weeks.
