My uterus must be awesome, this baby doesn't want to leave it.

So a couple days ago I posted about my missing the urge to nest, then low and behold the urge kicked in after posting. I'm hoping posting about my baby not wanting out of my womb will have the same effect and start this labor processs. I've been 2 centimeters dilated and %70 effaced for 2 weeks and lost my mucus plug 2 days ago. I feel so stupid, I think I'm having contractions but nothing real severe or steady. Is anyone else going through this? I'm trying to stay positive and patient but it's getting harder every day.

My baby was born at 41 weeks today. A friend had her baby at 42 weeks recently. It will happen! I don't do progress checks because I don't find them helpful, but I'll share that I never lost my mucus plug. With the other kids, I didn't until well into labor. So, don't put too much stock in it either way.
