I've been really thirsty lately, more than usual. Even if I drink water I'm still thirsty minutes after.. anyone else? am I not drinking enough water? :-S
Could be general dehydration, but it could also be a sign of something else. I have gestational diabetes and am always asked by the nurse if I'm more thirsty than normal.
Also, when I breastfeed I basically had to be drinking while baby was suckling. Maybe you are needing more fluids as your milk production ramps up.

It is so nice to see that I am not the only one that is constantly thirsty! My husband were heading to bed the other night and I came walking up the steps into the bedroom with a glass of chocolate milk, water and orange juice! And I wonder why I am waking up every hour to pee all through the night!
I am always thirsty!!! I take my YETI thermos everywhere I go. It keeps ice frozen for hours and I have to have ice cold water. I pee constantly but I'm always dying of thirst.. @-)
My friend said preclampsia gives you the same feeling. It made me super nervous because I never feel like I have had enough water. However, all my appointments check out great so I think the thirst is just normal at this point.
You should get checked for both GD and preeclampsia, but I've been checked for both recently and I'm drinking 3 or 4lts of water, double of what I'm supposed to ... The hot weather doesn't help so I wouldn't worry if everything seems to be fine!
