Period..?!?!

i started my first period right at my 6 week mark! I started birth control the day after my 6 week visit...I had a period the first week onBC not the second week and then again for about four days the third week and now I'm on what should be my period week and have started cramping like I'm gonna start again...I'm a ftm is this normal?

I'm only a week into my BC and I'm not sure if it's normal either but I started bleeding (more like spotting I guess) a couple days ago and I thought that was really weird. Especially since my first period ended a couple weeks ago. My doctor said spotting is normal because of your body trying to adjust to the hormones but I've never had this with BC before!
