Honest thoughts on the name Stellan Richard for our little boy? We both don't want a name that's too popular but have been having a hard time agreeing on a name for a boy. Thanks!

@brita722 it reminds me of that actor too! He's the only famous Stellan I know of though, and I could totally live with that. Plus my family heritage is Scandinavian so I like the idea of having a name popular where my family is from.
I'm sure my DH would love Kellan, but I'm finding I'm not a fan of names that start with K. Soren is cute, but I have a girlfriend named Seren and that would be too close for us. I can live with it being close to the word stellar - at least it's a positive word! not like we'd be naming him something that rhymed with poop lol. The Stella comparison is the only concern for us both at this point - more for the beer than the girl's name lol. Thanks everyone for your input! It's always good to get a feel for some initial reactions when trying to narrow down the list.
My cousin named his little boy this and I really like it. I think it is good for someone who wants something a different, but still a real name. I was worried because they are big time hippies so I was expecting him to be named moonrise or something. Stellan is cool, but has a little funky edge IMO.
