Re: FFFC 6/19

  • I hate the Dept of Revenue. Why must they make everything so difficult! Hubby was going 81 in a 65 and got a $170 speeding ticket. He isn't here so of course I had to take care of it. Apparently they didn't receive it in time and now we have to pay 250 plus the 170 they "never received." Oye. I know it's really Hubby's fault but come on.

Also..I woke up earlier than normal today to wish hubby a happy fathers day. Turns out it isn't until Sunday. Excuse me while I go back to sleep and restart my day lol.

I despise all of the "mommy wars" ... they're inevitable and they're everywhere - but I hate them! Want to feed your kid formula? Cool! Want to eat your placenta with a fork and knife? Go on ahead. Plan on having your baby in bed with you? Great, hope you both get some sleep! Like really, A) What impact does it have on you directly? and B) Is the baby in danger? People just need to get over themselves. (and there are certain people here that clearly do not understand this concept).
Eating placenta with fork and knife makes me crack up! Yes to all of this. Why should we shame other mommies for doing the best they can?! As long as they are keeping baby safe, I like to assume everyone would have their child's best interest at heart! Back to fork and knife. image
Hahaha I may question your sanity if you decide to eat your placenta with a fork and knife, but not my circus ;)

@CMDD call center rep and does a great job on phones, bless her heart.

Auditing her communications scars my soul. (I'm an internal auditor)

Married 07/29/10 and blessed with our Baby Boy Bowen on 06/17/2013

Hey, if placenta tasted like spaghetti, I'd be eating mine and everyone else's ;)  \m/

I'm such a judgemental cow when it comes to spelling and word choice in company emails. For example, this morning a girl on my team sent the following: "Happy Father's Day too me and too all of you! Now a days us moms have to play the roll of both. If that makes since". Your intent was good, however bad the delivery......Jesus take the wheel.
    That just hurts...

Also, why was she wishing herself Happy Father's Day?

  • I've been lounging aroundall day until about an hour ago. I don't even feel guilty about it :D
  • I got a snack out of the snack box at work today without paying.  I didn't have 75 cents but I needed to eat something.  I'll pay it back next week.

Basically flakes of freeze dried potatoes that you add hot water to and it fluffs them back up into potatoes ... sounds disgusting and most definitely is not the best for you, but I'll admit, they can be quite delicious when you have a craving.

Damn, now I want a crepe!
  • I had a Nutella crepe recently too! Lol. I added grilled banana and it was fabulous!
  • The little girl I just started nannying for is taking a nap. I've known her for a while and naps are rare. I'm really hoping she sleeps until 5:30 when her dad gets home. The couch is so comfy and it's really hot and I don't want to go to the park like I promised. Bad nanny no cookie! Haha
