Spill those confessions ladies!

I hate the Dept of Revenue. Why must they make everything so difficult! Hubby was going 81 in a 65 and got a $170 speeding ticket. He isn't here so of course I had to take care of it. Apparently they didn't receive it in time and now we have to pay 250 plus the 170 they "never received." Oye. I know it's really Hubby's fault but come on.

Also..I woke up earlier than normal today to wish hubby a happy fathers day. Turns out it isn't until Sunday. Excuse me while I go back to sleep and restart my day lol.

I despise all of the "mommy wars" ... they're inevitable and they're everywhere - but I hate them! Want to feed your kid formula? Cool! Want to eat your placenta with a fork and knife? Go on ahead. Plan on having your baby in bed with you? Great, hope you both get some sleep! Like really, A) What impact does it have on you directly? and Is the baby in danger? People just need to get over themselves. (and there are certain people here that clearly do not understand this concept).

Eating placenta with fork and knife makes me crack up! Yes to all of this. Why should we shame other mommies for doing the best they can?! As long as they are keeping baby safe, I like to assume everyone would have their child's best interest at heart!

We got our water/sewer bill yesterday and it was TWICE what it usually is (about $300 instead of like $140-150). I FLIPPED out. I called the city and left a seething message for them accusing them of making an error and that they need to fix it and to call me back. Then I talked to DH and he reminded me that last month he forgot to turn the hose off in the backyard for THREE whole days ... the city called me back this morning and I ignored their call.

Oopsies.

I have a really bad addiction to ice pops. i have had 20 today alone, and im averaging about 60 a week and thats on a good week, i am offically a fully blown addict to these delicious chunks of ice :x

I have spent the last two days, not bothering to change out of my pjs until one hour before DH gets home from work. DS has loved the pj days! We have watched some movies and had puffed corn. And I don't feel one bit bad about. My mom would die if she knew that I was spending ALL DAY in my pjs. In her house, you have to be dressed for the day before you get breakfast. Only exception is Christmas where she wants everyone showered then in holiday pjs for pictures. Oh my!

Basically flakes of freeze dried potatoes that you add hot water to and it fluffs them back up into potatoes ... sounds disgusting and most definitely is not the best for you, but I'll admit, they can be quite delicious when you have a craving.

I made a carrot cake today and told BF it was for him for fathers day. Really I just wanted an excuse to make and eat cake.

The little girl I just started nannying for is taking a nap. I've known her for a while and naps are rare. I'm really hoping she sleeps until 5:30 when her dad gets home. The couch is so comfy and it's really hot and I don't want to go to the park like I promised. Bad nanny no cookie! Haha

I was watching my cousins today as a favor to my aunt.... The oldest one was put in "charge" to entertain the rest of the kids while I took a nap (she's 12), and then I paid the youngest one $5 to do my dishes.
I'm not ashamed.

I told my SO my lift restriction is 10lbs. It's really 20, I just don't want to vacuum.
