I just got so excited I had to share this cute story. A little back story but my boyfriend and I each have two children. Myself a boy (almost 8) and a girl (5), and him two boys (almost 8 and almost 4). This is our first and only together. My two were supposed to be gone all summertime their father until he pulled some crazy crap and we had to get them on emergency. My oldest wasn't expecting to be around while we found out if the baby is a boy or girl or really any of the first movements because he understood that would be happening while they were gone and we would keep them updated. They've been back home for a week now and he is suddenly so incredibly affectionate. He's always been a lovey child and this baby has made him so excited since the day they found out. But the last week has been insane. He comes up to me and rubs my belly all the time. And yesterday right when I saw them as I was leaving my job he runs up to me and I go to hug him like normal and he pulled away bends down hugs my belly and goes "baby first then you!" And then he hugged me. It was so sweet!!

That's awesome! Sounds like he'll be a great helper when baby gets here.

That's too precious! He has a big heart my son who's almost 5 is in love with his little sister he always says hi and bye to my belly and talks about her everyday I love it!

That's adorable! My 7 year old is exactly like this too. He talks non-stop about his baby sister, hugs my belly and says she's going to be the most beautiful baby ever. He also tells me this is going to be his first big responsibility (being a big brother). It's so nice to have them excited

He is so excited for this baby. He has siblings from his dad but they don't live close so he didn't get to experience the baby stage or pregnancy with them. He is the most excited to find out what the baby is and even says "mom I think it's a girl but if it's two I want one of each" I don't know where he got the notion of two but I love that he's thinking about it! He only just started this week and it makes me so excited that he gets to enjoy the rest and I get to experience he's loving side so much more.

I'm glad you ladies are experiencing good things with your little ones too!!!

That's so sweet! My five-year-old nephew is the same way. He gives my belly hugs and he'll talk to the baby. He's going to be such a good cousin. He just found out his mama (my sis) is having a baby, too, so he's doubly excited. He's hoping she has a boy, too.

these stories are so beautiful it breaks my heart a little. My boyfriend has a son from a previous marriage he is 13. he is amazing with his younger siblings from his mom but thats only from what i had seen a long time ago. we don't get to see him and the story is horrible and makes me hate women like her that use their children to hurt their ex's. i know he would be wonderful with this baby too but he doesn't even know about him. we are thinking we may have 2 children but for now we are thrilled to have this baby boy as he was a miracle baby.

That's so sad :-( I hope one day you guys get to see him and he gets to meet his brother!
