Emergency Dental Work at 39 Weeks

Has anyone needed emergency dental work late in the third trimester? I woke up the other day with horrible tooth pain and was trying to suck it up and hope it would go away, but so far no luck and Tylenol isn't really controlling the pain. I am supposed to be induced on the 24th and I'm not sure what to do so late in pregnancy.

I imagine the dentist has experience with this kind of thing and will know the best course of action. I am not a medical professional but it's encouraged to visit your dentist as normal while pregnant. I have no doubt you will be fine! Good luck and keep us posted.

Your comfort and health is just as important as your baby's. You have to take care of you. You should be fine as your dentist would work with you and your doctor. Don't worry! You are certainly not the first woman to need emergency dental work so late in pregnancy. Just breath :)
