Twins and hungry all the time???

I'm 9 weeks pregnant with twins and I'm constantly hungry. Well, except for when I'm fighting nausea a few hours during the day. I even wake up in the middle of the night with hunger pains. Anyone else experiencing the same issue? I'm afraid I will gain 100 pounds if this continues lolll (5lbs gained so far)!

I don't remember being hungry all the time, but I did eat small meals 5 times a day- I had been on a healthy eating/weight loss habit before I got pregnant- so all I did was increase my amount of lean proteins, low fat dairy, and water.  I gained 65 pounds total- I carried for 34w 3 d.  I lost it all in 2 weeks- so it was all baby weight and fluid from my pre-e.  My boys were each just over 5 pounds at nearly 6 wks premature.

I would increase the amount of water you are drinking, sometimes hunger pains are really dehydration.

Thanks for responding. I'm definitely drinking a ton of water and eating smaller meals during the day. I'll try adding more lean protein to see if that helps! Thank you

I'm 9+5 with twins and my appetite has really been increasing this last week. My ms is getting better, so I think they are related as well. I actually lost about 5 lbs from throwing up before my RE put me on diclegis and I have gained about 2 lbs of that back now. GL!

I'm 12+5 with twins and definatly went through that at about 8 weeks (when I wasn't throwing up!) It has gotten better (and I only gained about 5lbs so far) but I still wake up in the middle of the night and need a snack. I've found that getting hungry makes my MS worse so I eat....also, I realized that some of my hunger pains were heartburn. Once I figured that out and took a Tums, things got better.

My last pregnancy was a singleton and I was hungry all of the time. This time it's twins!!!!! I'm still hungry all of the time but more tired plus nausea.

Is there a group for twins bc I have sooooo many questions?
