Fibroids

Hi
I'm 8 weeks pregnant and have just had this week's check up with our OB. He discovers I have a 4cm fibroid pushing on outside of womb. Has anyone experienced fibroids during pregnancy before? This is Bub number 3 and I didn't have with the other 2.

Hi! A few of us on here have fibroids, I know there is a thread on here somewhere if you search.

I found out about mine with my first and didn't even know what they were at the time. Mine is on the outside as well. It was 7 cm when we discovered it and grew to over 13 cm in first tri.

It gave us some trouble around week 13 from degenerating, but after that it was pretty smooth sailing. My son was born one day before his due date, no pre term labor, and was perfectly healthy!

Every woman's fibroid situation is different but the good news is there are ton of successful and positive pregnancy stories with them!
