Non-stop hunger pains?

I'm 9 weeks pregnant with twins and I'm constantly hungry. Well, except for when I'm fighting nausea a few hours during the day. I even wake up in the middle of the night with hunger pains. Anyone else experiencing the same issue? I'm afraid I will gain 100 pounds if this continues lolll (5lbs gained so far)!

Re: Non-stop hunger pains?

  • That was me! I had to eat to keep the nausea down, but I was starving within 2 hours of eating. I gained quite a bit early on, but have sort of leveled out. I'm just going with it. We'll see what happens when I deliver!

  • I am 15 weeks with twins. .i would say around 10 weeks it started. I could not be filled...it has gotten better but now i just have my moments. I just try to make healthy choices but its tough.
  • I feel relieved hearing other mothers of TWINIES are going through the same thing. I'm really trying to make healthy choices and drink a ton of water but it's difficult. I'm going to the grocery store soon and have a feeling I'll be spending a lot of $$ lolll
  • In the late first and through second trimester I was always hungry and ate a middle of the night snack after my nightly bathroom visit. Since getting so much bigger there is not room for a snack nor do I want the heartburn that would accompany

  • Went through the same exact thing....painful hunger allll the time! Luckily it subsided but I did gain a lot more weight than my friends with singletons who were nauseated all the time...I think I would pick extreme hunger over throwing up all the time though. 30 weeks in and have gained about 37 pounds, they said to expect up to 50 pound weight gain total.
