Thoughts on this name? It's pronounced TEE-may-ah. It's Hungarian in origin, and was originated in the novel "The Golden Man" by Mór Jókai. Middle name suggestions? I like Timea Pearl and Timea Rain.
I would have pronounced it ta-mee-ah. It's pretty, but I think she'll always have pronunciation issues. If that doesn't bother you, I like both middle names.
Originally I figured it would ti-may-uh which wouldn't bother me. I feel as if a simple correction once or twice would suffice and people would understand.
And I pronounced it ti-MEE-uh, like a feminine version of Tim. That's 3 posters with 3 pronunciation variations.
If the pronunciation thing doesn't bother you, it's a nice name. There may not be many corrections as a child. But depending on what she does as an adult, she may be correcting a lot of people in the future.

Same. I think it is nice but she will always be correcting everyone.
I just see the word time with an a on the end. In my head I said tie-MEE-uh (which coincidentally sounds like 'tie me up' lol). I think it might be a little too out there and she would be correcting the pronunciation constantly.

Love your mn pairings.
