I use a bunch of different shampoos (a bit of a product junkie) and face washes. I think the only thing that has a remote chance of harm is Retin-A, but that's only in pill form.
I use John Frieda Brilliant Brunette, but will alternate with Herbal Essences temporarily when my hair gets too greasy (it's great at stripping oils!) I only wash my face with water but I used to use Cetaphil in my acne/dry skin days.
Aveda shampure shampoo and conditioner and proactiv for my face.
I could be totally wrong here!...but a girlfriend of mine a few years ago was told by her doctor to stop using pro active during her pregnancy because it is harmful to the fetus. Maybe worth asking your doctor about??
tresemme shampoo&C Murad face wash. I had severe acne for EVER until I started using Murad. I even had chemical face peels that didn't touch my acne. It's the only thing that has made my face clear up and get rid of scarring.
I avoid highly chemial ingredients, even prior to pregnancy. But even more so now to prevent any weird harm.... mainly I avoid parabens, sulfates, and articical frangrances if possible.
I used Weleda moisturizer, Alba face wash, & an Eminence mask a few times a week. For hair I use Jason Sea Kelp shampoo & switch between Avalon Organics and some other natural conditioners. I mix a few together. Also while we are talking about beauty routines, I use Josie Maran and Tarte for my cosmetics. All vegan/paraben free.

Hi, and thanks for bringing that up. I just wanted to respond to this in case there are any other proactiv users with concerns. My OB said that using proactiv on my face was totally fine. There may be other OBs out there with differing opinions so, as with any OTC topical or med, it's probably just best to ask if you are worried.
I use dove for shampoo and conditioner. My hair is super thick/curly/frizzy and it seems to do the best. I won't even get into the products to tame the beast, though. Ha!
John masters organics shampoo and conditioner. I use coconut oil + Castile soap to wash my face and jojoba oil to moisturize. I also use paraben free makeup
Bioceutica Intuitiv errythang. Shampoo, conditioner, face wash and all other face steps (i.e. moisturizers, toners). They have a jade clay sugar scrub and it is a must have in the summer. It's my favorite. And free of all the yucky stuff for my skin and the environment.
