Who has an Orbit travel system?

I REALLY want the Orbit.  But I have a few questions.

(1) The G3 system is $400 more than the G2.  Is it worth it? Why?

(2) Once the baby is in the toddler seat, does the seat also sit on the rotating base?  If so, does the rotating base turn forward facing for when we're ready?

(3) If the seat doesn't fit on the rotating base, can I place the seat backwards or forwards?

(4) A sales person told me the stroller can fit the toddler seat and the infant seat on the same stroller.  I don't see how this is possible?  Is it true?

I just want to make sure this system will last me the longevity of my child/children.
