I think I have low supply - I'm getting around 3-4oz for each 15 minute pump - around 2oz per side if I'm lucky. I'm exclusively pumping but only managing around 6 pumps per day so am trying to increase to at least 8 times as advised by LC.
I pumped every two hours for a while to increase my supply and now i go longer between pumps, every 4-6 hours and i pump for 20 minutes and can get anywhere from 7-10 oz.
I'm lucky if I get a whole ounce from both breasts combined! When she goes a long time without eating she'll eat on one side and I'll pump the other after and I can get almost two ounces then. Not sure how I'm going to build a freezer stash for when I go back to work by pumping a half ounce/ounce at a time...

How long were you pumping every 2 hours? I'm happy to give anything a go if it will increase my supply!
I only get about 2 ounces total from a 15 min pumping session which I do every 2 hours around the clock. When I go back to work at 6 1/2 weeks I don't know what is going to happen. No way I will be able to pump every 2 hours, but I don't want to wean myself off pumping before then because I want LO to get as much breast milk as possible.
Me too I just started pumping and i get one oz from both sides after pumping for 15 min on each an every 3 to 4 hours My baby wanted 2 ozes oevery two hrs from day three an now he wants 3 to 4 oz every two hrs so i put him on my breast an then i supplement with formula,am trying to increase supply by putting him more on breast and pumping more,he really fusses when he cant get enough from breast
I exclusively pump and try to pump every 4 hrs, I get anywhere from 8 to 10 oz from both. If I eat a big meal an hr beforehand I tend to get 10. My smaller amounts come in the middle of the night when i dont eat. Make sure you are eating and drinking enough.
I get twice as much from my right side as my left. I pump every 4 hours except at night when I go 6-7 hours between (I hurt, but baby, husband and I get more sleep if I go an extra 2 or so hours between. I usually pump a total of 3 ounces every 4 hours and usually 4-5 ounces first thing in the morning.
I've been pumping for a week and have seen a steady increase in my supply each day. This past Monday I got 12oz total, and yesterday I got 22oz total. I aim to pump 8-10 times/24 hours and I'm now getting between 2-3.5oz total for both breasts. My son is 2 1/2 weeks old, and usually takes in 2.5-3.5 oz per feeding so we are supplementing with formula while I try to build increase my supply.
Sharing this from my LC in case it is helpful to others: There's also a technique called "power pumping", which involve a cluster of several short pumping sessions over a period of time without washing the pump parts or putting the milk away in between. Start with a full pumping session as usual, then take a 15 minute break. Then pump in 5-10 minute intervals with 10-20 minute breaks in between for the next 2 hours. It's fine to leave the milk at room temperature for this long, still in the bottles, between sessions. By doing one 2-hour stretch of power pumping daily, you could get in an extra 3-5 pumping sessions, and all that stimulation and keeping your breasts from filling up is GREAT for boosting milk production.
About the same! 2oz per boob, I usually feed her straight from the boob and she never seems to be dissatisfied so I think it's normal. I pump maybe 3 times a week.
Are used to only get 1 ounce from each side for about 15 minutes each side now I can get about 2 ounces however I breast-feed him and when he's cluster feeding I don't have time or the supply to pump in between it's so tiring to just breast-feed and pump in between. If I've gone a long time I can maybe get almost 3 or 4 ounces from one side
How do yall have time to pump? I try to pump after ds feeding in the morning and night. He cluster feeds during the day. Every time I try to pump, he gets hungry again
@kremerj1 I just asked my pediatrician about this as well. He suggested, if baby is gaining good weight already, feed on one side and pump the other simultaneously. Switch breasts during next feeding.
I was only pumping one ounce per breast in a 15 min. timeframe. I upped my water intake, drink a couple glasses of Gatorade a day, eat 2-3 lactation cookies a day and started taking Honest Company's Lactation Boost and now I can pump 6 oz. in 15 min. Crazy.
