PP birth control options

Just wanting to hear people's opinion on birth control after baby.... Leaning more towards depo shot....any better options??

I am on the pill now but highly contemplating switching to the IUD (probably the mirena). I have a friend that gained a ton of weight on the depo shot .. Granted it may not be all due to that but hard to say. Therefore, I personally am steering clear of that.

I heard so many people try the IUD and end up with problems from it and needing it removed.... And my husband has not heard too many good things about the IUD either....

I had the depo shot for years and loved it! I didn't get a period and its highly effective. It's convenient too because you don't have to remember a pill everyday. The only con for me is that you have to plan in advance when you want to try for another (if you want another). It takes a few months for it to fully get out of your system.
