i am 40 weeks pregnant and find out yeasterday that my baby in posterior position if any one have this birth experience really scared now about labour baby number 3 dd born 37 ds 34 now expecting dd and my due day in 2 days mw sayd that it's could be till 42 weeks until they induce me

My first baby was in that position and I had a lot of back labor but I got through it and baby was fine. I would recommend looking up on how to deal with back labor and check out spinning babies. It's a website about getting baby to flip to a better position .

I've had two OP labors. Both babies rotated late in labor. One was delivered ROT (less optimal) the other was delivered OA (optimal). The back labor with OP isn't great, but it is doable. I had an amazing, unmedicated birth with DS2. He didn't turn OA until I was pushing! 

With this baby, it has been OP, but I'm pretty sure he/she rotated during 5 hours of contractions last night. I'm pretty sure that I am feeling a big back and bum lump through my belly rather than the pokey limbs I was feeling earlier.

I had an awful OP labor with a baby that did not turn. Excruciating leg pain, the back seat pain was doable. Go scrub your floors and baseboards on hands and knees and try not to be reclining on the couch.

I am 40 weeks already nothing it's helping have cramps and back pain already for tow weeks doing everything I can rolling on my knees cleaning house walking back pain it's killing thanks

I just had some pretty intense back labor due to baby being sunny side-up. It was manageable, though, and I delivered without meds. You can, too. She didn't turn on her own at all, and wound up getting stuck. Vacuum helped tremendously!

My lil' one was born exactly one week early, but had been in this position all along.

I had a really painful back labor and using a heating pad on my back worked very well until I got my epidural. Thankfully they had me do sideways positions while pushing and they were able to get her to move last minute
