@shelbydd my sons name is Remmie, same after Gambit just spelled different. We got a bunch of crap about it too. More so people asking why we were naming our kid after liquor, referring to Remy Martin. :::rolls eyes here::: The name fits little man perfectly. Couldn't see him as any other name. So glad I stuck with it.

I know a girl named Remy and I know a boy named Lindsay, but so what. In this day and age, so many names can and do go either way. That's why my husband and I haven't shared my child's name with anyone because people feel they have the right to give you their opinion. It's so annoying. I agree with what someone else said, when you introduce your child when they are born as their name, there is nothing for them to say at that point.
Any time someone says they wouldn't name their kid after a gun (Remington), or a liquor (Remy), I just want remind them that the product was named after a PERSON's accomplishment. And then throat punch. b-(
