Lunch for toddlers

Do you give several different foods or just one main thing?  I have seen other mom's of toddlers just give one thing for lunch:  nuggets, sandwich, etc.  I always give Tillman many different things.  Today, I gave him a PB&J, green beans and fruit cocktail.  So, if you have a toddler, what do you do?

TTC #2 for a million years: SA normal, CD 23 bloodwork shows nothing amiss, ovulation detected. Next step: ? maybe CD3 bloodwork to check eggs? All out of pocket, so limited IF tests/treatments.

Re: Lunch for toddlers

  • I give several different things. I find my kids eat a variety of different things if offered. If I were to only offer nuggets not just a few nuggets, applesauce, cheese, and carrots or something like that then they wouldn't have a very balanced diet. Lunch is one of our best meals in this house. Dinner, however, is not.?

  • I offer two or three different things, I find he throws the food quicker if he has a lot to play with.  Today he had blackberry jelly sandwich on ww, string cheese and a few cheese crackers.

  • Today he had half a grilled cheese sandwich and a bowl of ham and bean soup.  While I was cooking it, he ate grapes.
