Genetic Testing

is anyone waiting for genetic testing results besides me? I feel so alone and it's taking weeks!

    I am not waiting right now, but i did go through it in May. It was a long week. Fx for you!! Hang in there. 
    Me (42) w/ partner for 16+ years
    TTC #1: 11/2012 - 9/2013; 6/2014 - present
    Follistim + TI (3x): All BFNs
    Follistim + IUI (1x): BFN 
    IVF #1: 17 retrieved,15 fertilized, Day 3: 15, Day 5/6: 3 biopsied
    Result; 1 frozen blast (inconclusive PGS results)
    IVF #2; ER: 6/22 16 retrieved, 6/25: 5 transferred (CP), 2 frozen
    FET 9/17: BFN
    Current FET -- Transferred 2 day-3 embryos - BFN

    I'm waiting to miscarry then I'll go in for genetic testing. Not sure what it will all entail. What will they all test for and what will they do? I'm nervous. I have pcos and have had two miscarriages this year alone. Afraid they will find something else.

    ****PAIF warning****

    I did PGD and we had to wait 2 months. The first biopsy/PGD we found out about 3 embryos (1 month), but had to re-biopsy the other 2 due to samples being too small (so had to wait ANOTHER month).

    It's the longest process ever. Have you asked your clinic if they can find out any updates for you? I hounded mine. They may be able to get you some news. Hang in there!

    Our Story

    Me- 35, mild hypothyroidism

    DH- 29, low count due to a chromosomal abnormality, only option is IVF/ICSI with PGD.

    Married 5/13

    TTC since 8/13

    IVF/ICSI #1 ER 9/14 - 14R, 6M, 6F, 5 blasts off to PGD- 1 normal female, 2 balanced males

    FET 12/8 of 2 frosties - 1 male/1 female - stick babies stick! 

    Beta #1 10dp5dt 444! Beta #2 14dp5dt 2,340!  U/S 1/5-- TWINS!!!  EDD 8/26/15
