When Did Yours Go Away??

I have the baby line (the tan line down your belly) ... I had him May 4th.
Im going on vacation in two weeks and I'm a little self conscious so I'm just wondering when did yours go away?? How many weeks PP?

Still have mine. I have a friend with a 6 month old that still has hers. I wouldn't count on it being gone anytime soon.

If you get a bikini wax, they can wax that area and it will lighten it or make it go away faster.

May 6th baby.....still have it, but the funny thing is, I didn't really have it DURING pregnancy. I noticed it only after I had my LO.

Still have mine and it seems darker than when I was pregnant 3 weeks ago.

I wore a bikini at 7 weeks post dd1 and my linea negra was there. I wasn't self concious about it at all. It was faint by that point.

I'd say a few months until it was gone.

@cassietegtmeier haha I was back to my original size after 2 weeks no stretch marks or anything! But I'm still scared to wear a bikini because of the line! but it must be done!

I'm 8 weeks pp and the line is still there, dark as ever

Sadly I had my line for a year after my first... Then didn't have one this time so I was thrilled... Until it came after !! Lol

I like my line. I've always been a little heavy, and before when I looked at my stomach I just felt bad about myself. Now I can look at my flabby stretched out gut and it gives me a feeling of importance. For just a little while longer I can think "I'm not fat! I just had a baby a few weeks ago, and I look really good for someone who just did!"

It's darker after pregnancy because your skin is no longer so stretched, so the melanin is concentrated over a smaller area.

I definitely still have mine BUT I exfoliated a little bit of it away after a shower. Still definitely visible... I'm tempted to put on a bit of benzoyl peroxide (acne cream which bleaches everything in sight... ) to see if it lightens. Others have recommended lemon juice but I'm guessing my linea nigra would scoff at such a weak substance.
