Hey y'all! Just wanted to post a prayer request. My husband deploys very soon... a few days after my due date, for almost a year. Our son has not arrived yet and we are praying he will arrive before his Daddy leaves! We know God's timing is perfect and he will come when he is ready to come but I would love if y'all could send some prayers up for us!

Ahhh, hope your LO makes his debut soon and praying for a safe deployment!

Have you talked to your doctor about maybe inducing so that he can be here for the delivery? Not suggesting, just wondering. I know some people are not comfortable with that.

Thanks y'all! I'm actually seen on a military installation and they aren't really up for inductions unless absolutely necessary! We are praying he's here in time though! I really appreciate all the prayers so much!!!

Ugh. I hate when I have to have my medical care done on base. SO much better when we can see civilian providers, IMO.

Anyways, my hopes and wishes that you get to have your LO soon so dad can meet him and hold him and love on him. Also my fervent hopes and wishes for a safe deployment for your DH and also for safety and comfort for you and LO while he is deployed.

OP you are amazing- I can't imagine having the presence of my partner for the birth be up in the air at this point. If it comes down to it and he is not able to be there, I hope you can take heart in the fact that you are in so many ladies' prayers from across the globe. My favorite birth affirmation is the one below because it reminds me that no matter how much pain I am feeling at the time, I am not alone, and you won't be either! Prayers and best of luck.
