How long after EWCM until ovulation?

Okay so I am new on here! I have been married for over a year now. I know this might be TMI for some, but how long after having EWCM should I ovulate? I had EWCM yesterday and a huge amount today (the most I've ever had). My husband works nights and he didn't get home until I was leaving for work this morning, and we haven't DTD recently. If we DTD tomorrow morning, will I miss my ovulation?! Has anyone else had an experience like this? Thanks!!

You can experience EWCM at any point throughout your cycle (or not at all), so there's no magic length of time after it starting that you will ovulate. Just that conditions are good for it.

Every women is different and every cycle is different. Sometimes I would have EWCM the day past ovulation, and other times the day of or the day before.

Also, the younger the woman, the more days of EWCM they have (on average).

If you haven't, start charting your cycles if you are serious about optimizing your chances of TTC. This will tell you your typical cm pattern after you get a few cycles under your belt... When in doubt hump it out.

You should also buy a BBT and chart your temps to confirm ovulation. Fertility Friend is the app most use and recommend. I would also recommend reading TCOYF. It is full of useful information that is very educational and helpful!

I had EWCM from Monday to Thursday last cycle.  I O'd on that Monday.  So my EWCM lasted 3 days AFTER O.

Mine typically is the 3 days before ovulation, with the day before having the highest quantity. I didn't temp those cycles to confirm, just used opks though, and my body functions have no correlation to your body functions.

I usually have EWCM 3-5 days prior to ovulation and "wet" after that. As you can see, every woman is a bit different and you can have EWCM any time during your cycle. Best to try OPK's as well as BBT daily to know for sure when you are going to ovulate. It takes the guess work out.

0-14 days or never. Lol
