extra placental lobe?

Just received a call from my ob saying my last ultrasound showed an extra placental lobe and she wants me to be scanned again by the high risk dr as well as start NST 1-2 times a week. Any other moms dealing with or have dealt with this before? I'm scheduled for a c section August 13 so I'm not sure if the hemorrhage complications I've read about would apply to me?
