High risk for preterm labor w/ short cervix

Sunday night 6/7 I had a bad stomach cramp. Monday morning I called the Dr and they had me come straight over. Couldn't find a heart beat so they sent me to L&D which they did blood work and found a heart beat but after the ultrasound they found out I'm not leaving and my cervix is supposed to be 3cm but is barely 1 cm. Has anyone else had this problem and they let you do permanent bedrest at home? I'll be 25 weeks tomorrow 6/10.

When i was 20 weeks i had a emergency cervical cerclage placed i only had 1.5cm of cervix left 2 weeks after my surgery my cevix funneled to the stitch so i now only have 1.3cm of cervix left i was put on progesterone suppositories and was able to be on strict bedrest at home only bed to bath. I am now 34 and 3 days ☺ only 2 more weeks till my stitch gets removed. Dont give up hope. Just rest and take it easy !

I had a cervix at 7mm at my 20w u/s. Had an emergency cerclage the same day, one week of bed rest and then I was allowed to return to work. On progesterone suppositories every night, pelvic rest and no lifting. My cervix was at 1.5cm and holding 4 weeks ago. My MFM expects as baby gets bigger that water bag will funnel past sutures and break early. They stopped checking cervix length about 4 weeks ago, I think that there's frankly not too much more they can do. I will be 29w tomorrow. Good luck!! Having a short cervix changes everything about a pregnancy!
