When is your first appointment?

I am going to a new OB with this pregnancy; I called today and they are seeing me on Wednesday. I was a little shocked because I remember with the last ones they saw me at 6 weeks. Never this early.

Friday (at 5ish weeks). I'm switching to a midwives practice (my previous OB whom I loved became a laborist and I can't see him anymore), so this is a whole new ballgame for me. It's apparently some kind of group appointment and I'll have my dating U/S later on.
