Strollers

Am I the only person that is confused by strollers?! I don't understand all of these attachments, etc. Also, there are SOOOOO MANY brands to choice from. I've been doing consumer research but I'm still at a loss at which stroller I should go with. 

Any suggestions?

I agree, love the Bob but I run, walk, am outside all the time. It's a huge pain in smaller/indoor spaces. I just used a carrier for things like the mall and walking to restaurants but at times I did envy smaller strollers that were a bit more compact for those activities. I'll be getting a double Bob soon though so really can't say enough good things! And once you pick a stroller watch consignment stores and Craigslist, you can get a great deal on some of the spender strollers!

Best thing to do, if you can, is to go somewhere like Buy Buy Baby where you can see all the strollers in person and try them out. Good options:

- ones that you can easily attach the infant carseat to 

- you can fold up easily

- see how big it is when it folds up and if that will easily fit in the back of your car

- what kind of terrain will you be using it on will determine the types of wheels that you look for

We have the Bob Revolution SE, and adore it. It can be a jogger, and the front wheel locks, or it can be used as a regular stroller, and it turns on a dime. It literally goes anywhere. Through fields, and easily through the tightest places. It also folds down quickly, and easily. We are going to purchase the double sometime before baby #2 arrives. I can't say enough good things about it.

There really are SO many options! It is totally overwhelming! We went and looked at Buy Buy Baby they were super helpful and it was really nice to narrow it down! I think we are leaning towards the Bugaboo brand.

We got the Baby Jogger City Mini GT and we are looking at the City Select for when #2 comes along.

But yes what PPs said. For us, I wanted something i could fold with one hand, not too heavy and can navigate easily with one hand. Our City Mini GT is incredible - smooth, easy to navigate with, and it was great in the horrible winter we got in NYC - goes through snow and everything. That front wheel is a monster but amazing. And pretty light so when I drop her off at daycare i can do it all with one hand. It's important to go to the store and test things out - your height may also make a difference. I'm 5'4 and my hubby is 6'1 and the GT was a good compromise. Others are taller or shorter so may be uncomfortable if you're tall or short respectively.

I'm looking at the BOB Revo like @mrsmosley7 - with either the Briatx carseat or Chicco Keyfit. We're pretty active and I think it will be a good choice for running around outside.

Thanks Jamie. I did go to Buy Buy Baby and was so overwhelmed with the amount of choices. I guess i'm overthinking it.

The most important things to us were how small it folded up and how easy it was to fold. That Baby Bargains book is a good place to start, too!
