Hole in Pacifier

Just got some Soothie pacifiers and one of them has a hole (like the nipple of a bottle). Is this a defect? I'd imagine that LO would swallow air that way. Do some pacis have holes or should I toss this one?! FTM here, sorry! ;)

    That is a defect I think. We use those and none have holes.

    Also LOVE the wubbanubs that have soothies attached. It helps with baby spitting them out and falling on the floor.
