Intro! 2WW first IUI

Hi Ladies!
I'm 31 and have been trying for 2.5 years;( everything has come back negative on both my husbands & my tests except the morphology on the SA. I finally faced the fact that we can't do it by ourselves & saw a RE after 2 years.
I did clomid days 3-7 and had to go on estradiol for thin uterin lining. Had my first IUI on 5/29....and now I'm waiting.....
Yesterday was a rough day, my 7 day Progesterone level was 1. 1!!!! Extremely low, I had so many mixed emotions! Why wouldn't they test it earlier! What if it didn't implant because I have no progesterone. I was super positive until yesterday, now it's just a struggle. I started progesterone 200mg vaginally three times a day. Has anyone else had that low of progesterone???
I can't do a HPT until Friday, and this has already been the longest week of my life! Ugh!
It's all just starting to wear on me.

Hi and welcome!  What was your uterine thickness on the 7 day checkup?   That is a more important number than the progesterone.   Many RE's put everybody on the vag pills no matter what for the reasons that you stated.  It can't' hurt, but might help in some cases.  Definitely insist on it, although it's messy and not fun at all.

It sounds like you're still in the running so try not to focus too much, keep super super busy so that the TWW doesn't drive you insane.

Cycle day 9 my lining was 2.8 after 2 days of estradiol it went up to 7, I continued on estradiol for 2 more days & I didn't have an ultrasound again prior to IUI. So I'm guessing my lining was somewhere around 9

I had my first IUI on 6/1 so we're in the same boat! I'm also taking progesterone 200mg a day but I think my doctor puts everyone on it because they weren't low to begin with. But I wanted to wish you good luck!!

AndieB83  It sounds like you're okay, the progesterone is there to keep a fluffy lining after ovulation.  If your lining was good then the progesterone suppositories will keep it from breaking down too soon.

Thanks GoldenKeys, I just got really worried my progesterone was so low. I wish they would've started me on it sooner than day 7! 5 more days...

EB0830- yay! How exciting for you! This 2WW is the worst because I'm thinking I'm pregnant & if I'm not, it'll crush me;( It'll be nice to have a buddy in the same boat! Fingers crossed!!

Ahhhh the dreaded 2WW! I sincerely hope this iui takes for you! My husband and I JUST started our infertility testing, so I'm sure I'll become much more familiar with things like Progesterone levels...fun!

No go this time around. I'm very frustrated & unhappy right now. I stayed so positive throughout this 2WW now all the life is sucked out of me. We decided to take this month off and try again next month possibly. My RE suggested using 2 samples: 1 frozen & 1 fresh because of a low sperm count after the washing. Has anyone else done this?
