Sex in 2nd trimester. Too rough??

Lastnight my husband and I had sex and he was (sorry so explicit) fingering me with no more than two fingers. It went on for a while. When I got up to use the restroom I was bleeding (bright red). A lot. We assumed his nails cut me. Are we right or did we hurt the baby? Still had very very light (darker) bleeding this morning. HELP

bleeding in any amount should be told to your doctor. It may be nothing. But always let a professional examine you to put ur mind at ease.

Literally the same thing happened to me with my fiance. It was bright red but no dripping it only showed up on a tissue. I blotted at it maybe 3 or 4 times and it was still there so we went to the hospital (didn't know it was normal) and the dr did a pelvic exam and said my cervix was still closed and I should take it easy because the tissue in there is soft and blood vessels will pop easily. Just be careful and make sure he keeps his nails short! If you ever feel cramps or any pain after I would see your doctor immediately. And if it fills up a pad I would go also.
