Csection Mamas

just wondering if any other mommas who had csections can comment on when their pain/tenderness started to decrease?

Re: Csection Mamas

  • My last csection took about 4-5 weeks but the numbness and tingling last well over a year. Hang in there. :)

  • Definitely 4-5 for me each time as well and walking less like an old woman after 2 weeks.
  • I'm two weeks out and still really sore and uncomfortable, boo to bumpy car rides. A friend who is six weeks post section said she just started feeling better.

I'm on day 6 and am only mildly sore. Lifting my toddler is still not comfortable or recommended, but I should be feeling much better by the end of week two. I'm mobile and weaning off of my pain meds already.

The first time it took 4-5 weeks. The second time around 2 weeks. I still feel numb around the incision area and I'm 6 weeks pp. Actually I don't think the numbness ever went away after my first. My OB said it's normal and nothing to worry about.
  • I'm a FTM and am 2 weeks post c/s. I move around fairly easily but have some fatigue when I do a lot, such as my first trip to the mall post c/s. I still have some pain at the incision site. If I keep on top of pain meds I can minimize the pain.
