So, DH and I have decided on our name should we have a girl (find out in two weeks). We would name her Audrey Francis. Audrey was his grandmother's name and Francis was my grandmother's middle name.
However, I'm wondering if Francis or Frances is the more appropriate feminine spelling? My gma spelled it with an 'i' but I'm not opposed to changing it if Frances is the more commonly used feminine spelling. I've looked online and have seem both marked as feminine.
I don't know enough about this stuff to know if one is more standard than the other or if this is one of those names that doesn't actually matter.
Any help would be appreciated!
