Pitocin indication

I will be 41 1/2 weeks on Tuesday and they are inducing with Pitocin I am already 3 cm dilated and 50% enfaced but have been for 2 weeks with no progress! Anyone induced with pitocin before how long was ur labor?!

I was induced this past Monday. Was at a 4 and 60%. Only 5 hours of labor for me. Buuuuut it's my 5th kiddo. And my labors with and with out pitocin are fast anyways. Everyone is different. And everyone's body reacts to the pitocin differently. Good luck momma!

Visiting from M15. My daughter will be 1 month tomorrow (It goes by SO fast)! I was induced at 40+2 because I was 5 cm and 80% effaced and NOT in labor. They admitted me the night before (I was sent directly from my OB/GYN to the hospital) and started Pitocin at 8:30 am, by 11 am I had not had a single contraction. My doctor broke my water at 11 am and my 12:10 pm my daughter was here. So more or less my labor was 1 hour with 10 minutes of pushing. No time for an epidural because even the doctors were SHOCKED at how fast I went.
