Twins?

I am sure this gets asked a lot. I did Follistim with timed intercourse. Like I have for 10 months now I had more than one follicle. This time I had 4. I triggered on May 14th in the morning and on the night of the 15th did the deed. Fast forward to this last Thursday 12/13dpo and I got a positive! That night I started having pain which lead to a ER visit at 0130 in the morning Friday. My hcg was 202. They asked me if I knew my O date for sure. I do. Then monday I got a draw and it was 1083 and my progesterone was 45. then today it 2551. Two of my RE Drs and the nurse all think its twins. I keep googling and trying to get a better understanding. My doubling time has been right around 29 hours. Does this seem likely for twins? My DH is deploying in a couple weeks and we are both in shock. Similar cases?

My betas for twins are in my siggy.  But having been on the boards for a while, the beta number is not a sure indicator one way or another.  Some women have relatively low betas and do have a twin pregnancy.  Either way - congratulations and good luck!

Agree with @lawmom747 - there's a HUGE range of beta numbers and what's normal. I've seen low betas be twins and high betas be singletons. My betas are in my siggy. Congrats!

Agree 100% with PP.  My betas are in my siggy.  I had a feeling I was expecting twins because my first beta was so high, compared to it being 202 with my DD.  

In any event... congratulations!
