holy smokes maybe I just don't remember this from after having our first son but holy cow the first period after is horrible! Super heavy flow ahh I swear it's worse now than after I delivered. Anyone else have the same issue?

Yep, mine lasted a week longer than usual and super heavy flow. Had no idea it was going to be that bad.

That is fairly standard. Not unusual for cramping to be worse as well.

Same here. It started less than 8 weeks after my daughter was born and I'm exclusively breastfeeding! I'm on day 11 of my period now and it's still quite heavy. Ugh.

Yup! And my 2nd period was a whole week early! I wasn't expecting it and was out, huge mistake not having anything with me. By the time I got to my car I was dripping blood down my leg.. I don't think I could have been more embarrassed

Mine is the opposite. It showed up a few days ago but has been really light with no cramping. Hopefully it doesn't last forever. Normally I have one heavy day then 2 or 3 lighter days and that's it.

So confused! We are at 10 weeks and I spotted this week, super light, no cramping. Not sure if this is even a period, should I call the doctor?
We are breastfeeding, pumping and supplementing with formula. I can only pump about an ounce 1/2 at a time.
