    2. How long have you been TTC? Are you TTC #1,#2,#3, etc.?
TTC #2 for about a year with a couple breaks - I've done 6 medicated cycles total.  Twice I've taken the meds and then been cancelled (including last cycle), which is such a kick in the pants...

    3. What are you doing this cycle? Are you seeking help with a fertility specialist (RE)? If so, what stage are you in? Charting/temping? Testing? Medicated cycles? IUI? IVF? DE?
    ON THE BENCH.

    5. How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc)
I'm really happy, actually.  My hubby and I have both lost 20+ pounds and I'm feeling really positive about our next cycle, whenever that may be...

QOTW: What is a favorite summer childhood memory that you have?
Being outside ALL DAY LONG!  We had a pond in our back yard and we'd spend all day in the water some days.  It was so fun!

Feel free to add any vents or shout outs.

  • #1 - Goldsgirl9 from FL

    #2 - TTC #2 for 6 months. 2 losses since we started.

#3 - Seeing an RE for the first time next week looking forward to hopefully getting some answers and having a plan in place.

#4/#5 - Recently had D&C so I am not sure where I am with my cycle. Gonna sit this one out and then resume the efforts. We'll see what RE suggests as well.

Venting/Rant: construction just finished at our new house yesterday and we are now in the process of moving and it's been extremely stressful while working full time (over 40 hrs a week), caring for a toddler and dealing physically and emotionally with a miscarriage.

Congrats to the ladies who got their BFP's!
  • efhoping2010/WY

IVF/ICSI/MESA #4 but FET 2 with 2 CCS Normal Blasts, the first at the big clinic.

Please see history for the details :)

Waiting for AF, why is it always late when cycling, it would be fun if I ever had any chance of a natural BFP but with DH's dx that is impossible.

I will call my nurse on CD 1, when it arrives, ugh, and then start BCP for about two weeks before injections of Lupron, PIO, and vivelle patches.

    So FET likely in July.

    So many BFP's lately, yay!

  • 1. Carrie from Florida

    2. TTC#1 since January, one loss

    3. What are you doing this cycle? Charting/temping, opks, analyzing, obsessing, stressing

    4. Where are you in your cycle? Good question. BBT would say I was 10dpo. HCG level of 7 would suggest there wasn't any ovulation. My period is due a week from today, but who knows when it will come.

    5. How do you feel about this cycle? This is my second cycle post-d&c and I got a false BFP on Sunday, so this cycle can bite me. Pardon my French. I'm getting blood drawn again tomorrow to confirm that the hcg is leftover.

QOTW: What is a favorite summer childhood memory that you have? Boat trips to Mackinac Island and Put-n-Bay. Falling asleep to the sound of water lapping against the boat. (Good QOTW, by the way. It brought some much-needed warm and fuzzy feelings.)
    TTC#1 since Jan 2015

9/5/18 Diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve (4-5 follicles, one ovary had none and was very atrophied)

RE says the low egg count is likely causing my recurrent pregnancy loss. Less eggs results in more aneuploidy.

    BFP 5/11/19  •  Fraternal twins  •  MMC found at 10w5d (Baby A 6w, Baby B 10w)  •  Misoprostal at 11 weeks (age 41)

  • 1. Kathleen in GA
    2. TTC #1, just starting my third cycle.
    3. Getting geared for my third IUI with my RE.  Planning on letrozole, trigger, progesterone.  I'm charting and using OPKs, too.
    4. Today is CD1!  Hello AF, thank you for giving me an excuse to indulge in chocolate!
    5. Hopeful, though maybe a little tired.  I'm glad to be done with last week, and all the peeing on sticks and disappointments.

QOTW: What is a favorite summer childhood memory that you have?
Too hard!  I loved summer as a kid.  I actually remember sitting on a hammock, under a blue blue sky, reading a book and thinking about how HARD I loved summer, after a morning at the pool.
Me- 39 (turning 40 in April), TTC for the first time ever (since Jan 2015), low ovarian reserve
Married 3/14/14 to my wonderful wife, but her sperm count is rather low
TTC with frozen donor sperm and science

    7 IUIs, 7 BFNs.
2 IVF attempts, both cancelled and converted to IUI, both BFNs.
Decided that my tired old ovaries are ready to retire.
Next step- reciprocal IVF, using my wife's eggs, my uterus!
fresh 5 day transfer (2 embryos) 4/17/17- BFP!
Identical twins "due" 1/2/17 (but anticipated arrival sometime December)

  • Jenny from OK
TTC #3 for me #1 for DH
We're trying the natural approach charting and BDing
    Day 9 of 2nd cycle
After a stressful month in May I'm hopeful June will be better.
Summers meant hours spent with my horse Chief. He and I rode the trails, raced on the track, competed in the rodeo. All my best summer memories involve him.
  • Lady+Bee from OR

    TTC#1 since April

Using opk's and think I finally figured out how to keep my meds from affecting the results. I also started temping in the middle of last cycle, so if this cycle isn't the one, hopefully I'll be getting some good data gathered for future attempts.

7dpo. I got a BFN last night because I couldn't wait any longer to test, but I'm testing again Saturday morning and we'll see...

I feel hopeful...but also realize the odds are not in my favor. The rash of recent successes around here certainly makes me think it is possible, though!

Best memory? Walking to the library a couple of times a week and having long days with nothing to do but read for pleasure.

Congrats to all the ladies with the BFP's!
    Me: 41
    DH: 44

congrats to the recent grads and good luck to everyone this cycle!

    2. ttc #4 - 10 cycles I think

    3. charting and temping.

    4. waiting to O, cd11

    5. Not sure.  This is likely my last cycle trying since DH's deadline is July 15.  We'll see what happens.

QOTW: What is a favorite summer childhood memory that you have?
When I was little we lived in Minnesota and our next door neighbor was a little old lady.  One summer she asked if I would come over and help her pick her strawberries.  Afterward she gave me 3 quarts of strawberries which was awesome!

    1. Caroline (or just Cara) from Arizona

    2. How long have you been TTC? Are you TTC #1,#2,#3, etc.?

TTC #1, and this is only my second month trying.

    3. What are you doing this cycle?

Nothing special yet. Been on prenatals for awhile just in case tho!

    4. Where are you in your cycle? (Waiting to O, 2WW etc) If in the 2ww when will you test?

I guess technically TWW but only did BD once last night because hubby has been really sick. O is supposed to be today according to period tracking app but not really sure... Last month it happened way late.

    5. How do you feel about this cycle?

Not the most optimistic, I probably won't go crazy wanting to test this time... Like I said, we didn't get to try as much as we should have because of hubby being so sick and not sure about ovulation time either.

QOTW: What is a favorite summer childhood memory that you have?

Running through sprinklers and being at Disneyland a lot (we lived close so I feel like I grew up there ;)
  • 1. thistle8677

    2. TTC #5...(recurrent mc w/ living children)

    3. For this cycle I'm charting temps, alkaline diet, gluten-free, mostly dairy-free, prenatals, walking for exercise, positive thoughts, visualization and mantras!

    4. Today is cd1

    5. I feel very hopeful, yet nervous.  I've suffered 3 consecutive early losses in the past two years.  Most recent losses were 4mo. apart, so definitely trying to ward off any and all negativity in my life, particularly my own fears!

QOTW:  My favorite summer childhood memory might have to be catching fireflies at night with my brother...and walking down the street in the heat of the day to pick lilacs for my mother. :)
