My baby is 1 year old & my milk is slowing down, very natural process-- but i have had cramping for two months. I at first wondered if i was pregnant, i am not, at least not as of this week… Has anyone else experienced significantly long duration of cramping as they await the return of AF? I have not yet had a period for almost 2 years, so i get it, maybe it's revving up, but this seems extreme & it feels alike I'm pregnant again constantly. Am i alone or did anyone here experience a lot of cramping on waiting for the return of AF?
Re: Constant cramping as weaning bf
With 2nd child my 1st cycle was 10m, I started cramping often at 14m, I continue to BF (on demand) at 18m and although cycling regularly for 8 months already I still cramp on and off throughout each cycle. I've tried to figure out when in my cycle I am cramping but it seems to be whenever. So for me I would says cramping is mostly BF related and not cycle related.
BTW - With my 1st child AF was 4.5m even though I was EBF! I take it my cycle doesn't put much stock into lactation hormones.
