Kim K and a baby on the way

Congrats to her but KK's "infertility struggle" really rubs me the wrong way. Anyone else?

Re: Kim K and a baby on the way

  • Did she ever actually day what her dx was? I just read an article about her saying North was a miracle and that she was going to a RE and possibly looking at surrogacy, but it didn't say why.

She did have pre-e, but I'm not sure if that's related to IF. Kardashians complain about everything if they don't get it instantly.
IVF, acupuncture, meditation and a miracle.

Her "I did IVF and it didn't work" statement drives me crazy. IVF doesn't work the first time in many cases and sometimes not at all, but she seemed to have the attitude of I did it once and I'm moving on because I'm impatient. I saw somewhere that DOR may be a possible DX but I haven't read that in any articles where she was quoted. Who knows.

Yes I think this might have been the cause for her struggles. My sister was telling me the same thing.

  • Yes, super annoying. They make a big deal about everything. There was an article in one of the mags titled Kim's IVF nightmare. Turns out it was 1 failed transfer. Of course bad news, but hardly a nightmare. I've had 6 failed transfers, extensive RI testing, etc., and I still don't consider this a nightmare compare to what some ladies go through (recurrent losses, etc.).

  • Ugh. Ditto.

  • I was afraid I was being hypocritical by judging her/the way they've gone about sharing their IVF story. I feel better seeing I'm not the only one with that "ugh" feeling!!
