Plan b and breastfeeding

i haven't started my birth control yet, and my fiancé and I did the deed last night without protection. We intended on getting plan b today but I want to make sure that this won't effect my 2.5 month old son since I'm exclusively breastfeeding. Anyone know about this? Thank you in advance!

I would call your OB to be sure. My assumption is that it is fine (it is progestin only like the Minipill), but I wouldn't take anything without asking first.

I would ask the pharmacist. They always ask if you have any questions before dispensing plan b (at least, mine does). It's their job to know the drug labels front to back, they'll be able to tell you for sure!
