Cheap and Creative Babymoon Ideas?!

Hello again ladies! I am trying to come up cheap and creative babymoon ideas for my hubby and I. I am looking for maybe just a short weekend trip or even a weekend at home with ideas. We do not live near a beach or anything like that. Our house is a mess..jobs are stressing us out and I just feel Iike we need time together before baby girl gets here. I don't really want to spend a lot of money so creative ideas are a plus! Thanks ladies!

  • My husband and I just went to a bed and breakfast for the weekend. It was about 3 1/2 hrs away. He scheduled us for an inroom massage. We spent most of the weekend eating and laying around. It was wonderful. Nothing very fancy but we got to have some downtime together.

  • I was going to say a B&B as well. Baby boy came a long from a little vacation to no where a few hours away. We really love little get aways.

  • I think someone on this board mentioned going to a local hotel and hiring house cleaners. Just changing the scenery and coming home to a clean house sounds great to me.
  • one of the best experiences my husband and I had was a couples massage. Instead of spending money on an overnight, you could go have that together. It would cost about the same and your body will thank you. pregnancy massages are the best. We live about an hour from the Oregon Coast we plan to just make a day trip to the beach to shop and hang out.
  • I like the idea of the B&B. Hubby and I have a connection through a friend that works at a big lake resort about 2 hours from us. So we're just doing a weekend in a lake house, it's all inclusive with free food and drinks, swimming, golf, hiking trails, archery etc etc. I'm so excited to be going away for the weekend, my first getaway in 5 years!
  • Thank you ladies for the ideas...I'm going to look to see if there are any B&Bs around us!
  • My husband and I just got back from a cheap weekend vacation to Edisto Island.  It was laid back, beautiful, clean, and the food was awesome.  It wasn't busy at all. Everything was perfect.  We rented a Condo on Driftwood Dr. for less than $400 for the entire weekend.
