Snoogle, yes or no?

I'm in the first tri still, and I don't think they made the Snoogle when I had my son. I figured this was the place to ask. Who loves it? Is it worth it?

  • I always feel like the odd person out...drum roll I did not like the snoogle, maybe even hated it.
  • Yes as long as you have a queen bed or larger. Takes up a lot of room. Mostly using for upper body/neck/head right now. But could see how later will be good for legs and big tummy.
  • I love my snoogle.

  • Not for me. I start w just a pillow between knees but even toss that on the floor in the nite. Plus I'd never want to sleep w a mtn between dh n me, nor would he.
  • I just bought a regular body pillow and that works great for me.

  • @sschwege I'm just wondering why you didn't like it? I've heard this before. I only like it because I really wouldn't sleep at all without it.
I can't really explain it other than the fact that using a regular pillow between my legs and another to hug with my arms was significantly more comfortable.  Plus that thing is huge and was kind of hard for me to get positioned properly.
  • I found it really helpful because I normally sleep on my stomach but the pillow helped train me to sleep on my side.

I got mine in my first trimester and found it useless. Did not like it. I guess I was not big enough for it. Then when I was in my second trimester around 19 weeks or so I could not live without it.. It's great. I'm 26 weeks now and still loving it. You do need a big bed for It though. Queen or King size.
  • My boyfriend just got me one the other day && I love it soooooo much . It hugs and supports all the right places . Only thing is we have a full size bed right now so it's an issue taking up space but it's so worth it once you get farther into your pregnancy ! And it comes w a removable cover you can wash which is great !
  • Definitely worth the money! I got mine around 8 weeks, mainly to train myself to sleep on my side, and it's been amazing!

  • I have one and I loved it during the first trimester when my belly was tight with bloat. I stopped using it weeks ago because I spent all night fighting with it when I wanted to change positions and I was waking up exhausted. It also takes up too much space so my SO was getting no rest cause he had no space...so I guess I'm somewhere in the middle I neither love it nor hate it.
  • Snoogle makes me happppyy. Its like a big hug of comfort

    This.
  • I got the snoogle mini. It is a little less cumbersome. I still use it and I am not pregnant.
    Thank God for Raid.

I love it. It helps tremendously. Also, my husband bought one for himself after he tried mine. :)
  • I love my snoogle... when I get to use it. My dog and cat love it more than I do and think it's for them.
  • Get it! Definitely worth the money. It has made resting so much easier. However, my husband and I have a King size bed allowing for a lot of space. I believe if you have anything smaller it will be a little cramped.
  • I'm not opposed to the snooze at all, but I just went to target and bought a large body pillow for $10 and I love it! Takes up less room in the bed and works just as well in my opinion!

I didn't get one and I somewhat regret it now. I made do without it, but around 34 weeks I started feeling really uncomfortable at night and contemplated getting it. I just couldn't justify spending $50 on a pillow I would only be using for approx. 6 weeks. Had I gotten it earlier and gotten more use out of it I would not have minded the cost.

Now I'm 36 weeks and I make do with positioning the pillows in just the right way to make me comfortable lol. DH has also accepted that one of his pillows is now mine haha.

ETA: PPs also made me realize that Snoogle may not have been a good idea for me because our bed is only a full.

  • Yes yes yes!! Best thing ever! Even my boyfriend and my dog try to steal it away from me. Just last night I got up to potty and I come back to the room with full body hugging it. I had to pry it away from him.
It DOES take a lot of space though. Luckily we have a queen bed and it just fits but any smaller and I think it'd be too much.
  • I thought I was buying it for the pregnancy, but now I can't imagine ever sleeping without it again.
  • Has anyone used a BumpNest? Am contemplating that or the Snoogle.
