Today I'm headed on a riverboat to chaperone my 8 year olds field trip.  Tomorrow I am chaperoning my Kindergarteners farm field trip & having the baby (C-sect) on Wednesday.  Thank goodness I got my 1st graders field trip out of the way last week - But, seriously - WTF was I thinking???  I'm sure it's working mom guilt from never being able to attend anything...

Who else planned things they probably shouldn't have days before, or am I the only dumb one?  ha ha ha

No, you're not. My c section in June 17 and we have plans for June 14 to go to an air show because my husband and our 3 year old daughter love airplanes. It's hot. I may regret that. Lol but maybe the baby will come before then!

I'm kind of in the same boat. My 13 year old plays baseball, and it's travel. We play 4 games a week. Two during the week, and a double header on the weekend. My FI also has a 9 year old daughter who plays baseball, and she has 3 games this week, when they both have practices in between. I also drag along my other 4 kiddos to these games in the scorching heat. I clearly wasn't thinking when I registered my son for baseball this summer. Although, I had no idea it was travel when I signed him up and paid for it. Oh well, I'll get a break for a few days and then be back at the ball field next week.

I'm throwing shot put for Corporate Challenge tonight. At least I told our captains the long jump wasn't even a possibility. And I backed out of 2 races because they don't start until 9:15pm and I plan on being in bed by then.

I schedule myself for 3 12-hour shifts of physically demanding nursing in a row from 37 weeks on because I want to have the longest stretch off possible, and then I wonder why I'm crying at work at the end of my 3 days, yet I do it again the next week. Oh right, because I'm a dumbass.
