bump that changes size

I am 18 weeks, I think I have felt some flutters. I am 39 this is my second but last was 18 yrs ago. My bump keeps changing size. One day it will be there but still very soft and other days it not as prompt and softer than before. Worried

You are still in the bump vs bloat stage. Totally normal for it to change size. Generally during this time you feel/look bigger in the evening than you do in the morning. It also can be affected by your diet.

I'm 18 weeks and experiencing exactly the same, it changes daily and during the day. It's a blumpty bump.

Have you felt the baby move yet?

Only once at 17 weeks, it felt like 3 muscle twitches/pokes from inside. Midwife said it's normal for FTMs to not feel anything until 18 - 22 weeks. I have a Sonoline B Doppler and listen to baby so know she's ok in there. I can hears the kicks on the Doppler, just can't feel them which is frustrating.

Mine is usually more prominent at night as well, after a long day of eating lots of snacks.
