Could HCG levels be an indication of twins?

Hi ladies! Just curious if your hcg levels could indicate multiples? Just had my 1st beta 10dp5dt and I was at 432.

With my twins, my hcg at 9dp5dt was 161 so maybe:) With my current singleton pregnancy it was 73 the same day.

No. I was 13dp5dt and mine was 800. Single. Only transferred one. It's a good number though! Congrats

Nope! There's really no rhyme or reason. My first beta 12dp5dt was in the 700s. We did have twins, but as @Justone13 said above,
Hers were higher than mine around the same time with a singleton. You unfortunately just have to wait until the u/s! Good luck and congrats!!

Beta in my siggy for twins. But I agree with PP there is no rhyme or reason sometimes - have to wait for the ultrasound. Congrats and GL!

My HCG was  509 at 11dp5dt. and I had one done at the ER at 6dp5dt and it was 73. I am having twins.

I've read it is not a good indication.  I have seen many with low levels that had twins and I for one always get pretty high betas.  During my first IVF it came back at 2013, but only one implanted.  With my 1st FET at 13dpt it came back at 2476 and I did have twins at the time.  Now with my most recent FET my HCG came back at 3572 at 14dpt.  Now I am very curious too get my first ultrasound, probably next week!

With DD my first beta was 209.  With this pregnancy beta done same time, it was 924 I think (its in my soggy).  So I had my suspicions that it was twins and I was right.  I'm 33w3d with twin girls!

Having said that, I've seen women with very high betas and it was a singleton and visa versa with a much lower beta an fit be twins... doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason.

My beta at 12dp5dt was 1,699!!!! Like off the charts high. I am having one. So yeah, I definitely agree that it isn't a sign of multiples... because I was sure I was having 4 based on the charts.
